The South Bay, East Bay and San Francisco all have their own half marathons... It's about time the Peninsula has its own 13.1 mile run!
The Peninsula region of the Bay Area lies immediately south of San Francisco -- reaching from its famous neighbor to the north into the high-tech region of Silicon Valley. San Mateo is the main county in the Pennisula region. While many of the Peninsula's residents work and play to the north or south, the Peninsula has its attractions, including some beautiful wilderness areas.
Join us for a low-key run on the flat and serene San Francisco Bay Trail. The Course starts at Coyote Point Park then runs alongside the water, under the San Mateo Bridge, into Foster City, then back to San Mateo. Many locals know the trail as "the perfect place to run" however it is considered a hidden gem to Bay Area travelers and tourists.
